The Township Administrator coordinates operations, activities and administration of the departments, divisions, offices, boards and agencies of the local government. The office exchanges and disseminates information and advises and consults with the Township Committee.

As the Chief Administrative Officer of the Township, the Administrator attends all meetings of the Township Committee as required, advises the governing body on policy decisions, executes all laws of the state and executes ordinances and resolutions of the Township.

The Administrator recommends appointments, makes recommendations concerning the nature and location of Township improvements, recommends to the Township Committee the adoption of such measures as they may deem necessary or expedient.

Employment Application

DPW Operator/Laborer – Branchburg Township, Somerset County
Department of Public Works seeks two (2) full-time employees to perform routine work maintaining township property including roads, parks, sewers, and facilities.  This position involves outdoor work including road repairs, mowing, weeding, park maintenance, leaf and brush pickup, tree work, snow removal and other related duties.  Must be willing to respond to all storms or any other types of Public Work’s emergencies on a 24-hour basis.  Applicant must possess a valid CDL B driver’s license.  Starting salary is $22.50 per hour.  Interested applicants should send a resume with a completed employment application found on the Township’s website: www.branchburg.nj.us under Department-Administration or pick up an application at the Municipal Building, 1077 US Highway 202 N., Branchburg, NJ during business hours.
